Install (about 5 minutes)

  1. Unzip the download somewhere you'll keep it (Documents — not a temp folder). Don't move or delete it afterward; Chrome runs the extension from that folder.
  2. Go to chrome://extensions.
  3. Turn on Developer mode (top-right toggle).
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the extension folder (the one with manifest.json).
  5. Pin the 🚒 Job Hunt Engine icon, click it to open the side panel, and continue with Google. That's it.

First run

  1. Signing in sets you up with free credit and a quick onboarding (drop in your résumé — PDF or DOCX).
  2. On any job posting, open the panel → Capture this page.
  3. Build a tailored résumé or cover letter, or ask the assistant to fill an application form.

Updates: when you get a new version, replace the folder's contents and hit refresh ↻ on the extension card in chrome://extensions — your data stays put. Your career data lives only in your browser.
